Common Entrance Exam (CEE) Syllabus for MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing/BASLP/B Perfusion Technology

Introduction:

Medical Education Commission is formed, as per provision of the National Medical Education Act 2075, in the context of the essence and spirit of the reports of the commission, committee and task force formed to improve medical education at different times. Medical Education Commission has been established to:

  1. increase the investment of the state in the field of medical education,
  2. develop medical education in line with the national needs of Nepal,
  3. regulate medical education in integrated and efficient way,
  4. organize the work related to the establishment and operation of medical institutions,
  5. maintain quality, professionalism, institutional accountability, geographical balance and social justice in medical education,
  6. ensure equal access of all students including the deprived.

The Act defines medical education as education of all disciplines and levels related to the health profession (Health Professional Education).

Therefore, Medical Education Commission will conduct Medical Education Common Entrance Exam(MECEE) from this year(2077).It means those entrance exams which were used to be conducted by different Universities independently like Tribhuvan University(TU),Kathmandu University(KU),B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences(BPKIHS),Pokhara University(PU),etc will now be conducted by Medical Education Commission from this year.

Medical Education Commission has successfully conducted the Common Entrance Exam for Medical Education Common Entrance Examination for Post Graduate Programs (MECEE-PG 2020).So its the time for common entrance exam of Under graduate programs. For this purpose, commission has published a notice regarding the Syllabus for MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing/BASLP/B Perfusion Technology.

The Syllabus for MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing/BASLP/B Perfusion Technology are given below:

Apart from these topics, students also need to study those topics surfacely which are not kept here like Rabbit,Bones,Taxonomy,Morphology,etc as these are the topics which were asked in the previous year entrance exams.So it is better not to take any risks.Students are required to practice Physics,chemistry and biology as well as Mental Agility Test(MAT) which were used to be asked in the entrance exam conducted by Patan Academy of Health Sciences(PAHS).

At last, Commission will immediately publish the date of common entrance exam after the publication of class 12 result.It is the time to revise as much as you can.Best wishes!💗
